Same day reporting

Canberra Imaging Group is committed to using all reasonable efforts to produce examination reports on the day of service and make available online.

Reported locally by local radiologists

Canberra Imaging Group employ 15 radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians who produce all examination reports on site. Our radiologists liaise regularly with referring doctors to ensure accurate diagnosis and the best outcome for all patients.

CIG is fully committed to excellence in all areas of diagnostic and interventional imaging. The organisation actively maintains and enhances professional accreditations across a number of fields.

We invest in the most advanced medical imaging technology and maintain high standards of clinical expertise. CIG also invests heavily in staff development and education, and has constructed industry leading teaching programs.

Our medical staff are encouraged to further undertake post graduate studies and clinical review processes. They are actively involved in accreditation programs for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology (RANZCR), Australian Institute of Radiography, and the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry.

All of our clinics participate in the Department of Health Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme.

Information and education are a significant part of the services provided by CIG, including relevant publications for patients and clinicians. CIG regularly holds education forums for Referring Practitioners on many critical topics.
